2025 RVFD Training

MINIMUM EXPECTATIONS: Fire Company Skills Training will be conducted on the 1st and 2nd Tuesday of each month. These trainings will cover identical objectives. Fire Personnel must attend one of the two sessions, but are encouraged to attend both. The month prior to skills training, an online course will be assigned in Fire Engineering Training (FET). This online course must be completed prior to the skills training date. Link to log in to FET is below.

This calendar is updated monthly to provide you with a bird's eye view of upcoming training opportunities. Items in green are required for Fire Academy cadets, items in orange are professional development for those interest in moving into a leadership position. Black bold items are required for all fire personnel. EMS training will be added in the near future. Click on the calendar above to see all department activities.
